Mike Roberts: Associate Head Coach
Mike Roberts is in his sixth season as associate head coach on UNCG coach Wes Miller's staff in 2017-18. Roberts has helped the Spartans to double-digit win the past four seasons, including a program-record 25 victories in 2016-17.
Roberts helped the Spartans earn their third Southern Conference regular season championship and the program's first-ever No. 1 seed in the SoCon Tournament last season. He helped UNCG to a program-record 25-10 overall record and a 14-4 mark in SoCon play.
The 25 wins are the most for UNCG in the 50-year history of men's basketball while the 14 wins are the most for the Spartans in their SoCon history and ties the program record for conference wins in a season. UNCG advanced to the SoCon Tournament Championship game for the third time in program history and the first time since 2005. Roberts aided the Spartans to their second-straight postseason appearance and just the fifth appearance in program history as UNCG earned the SoCon's automatic bid into the National Invitation Tournament (NIT).

Chris LePore is in his fourth season overall on head coach Wes Miller's staff in 2017-18 and the second season as an assistant coach.

He helped the Spartans win the Southern Conference regular season championship in his first season on the bench. He guided the Spartans to a program-record 25-10 overall mark, including a 14-4 mark in SoCon play. The Spartans set a program-record at the NCAA Division I level with a nine-game winning streak and became the first team in the 50-year history of UNCG basketball to record three winning streaks of six games or more in a single season.
KYLE BANKHEAD: Director of Basketball Operations

Bankhead spent eight years (2007-15) as an assistant coach at the University of San Diego in the West Coast Conference. He helped the Toreros win the WCC Tournament Championship in 2008 and advance into the NCAA Tournament second round. Additionally, San Diego appeared in the WCC Tournament semifinals in 2013. He recruited USD’s all-time assist leader in Christopher Anderson and the all-time career block leader in Jito Kok.
